Putting local beef into the school systems of Carbon and Stillwater Counties
During the summer of 2023 the Beartooth Stock Association recognized a need to get more protein into the schools systems of Carbon and Stillwater Counties.
The Beartooth Stock Association have been working together with area cattle producers to help meet the needs of their communities.
How does it work?
Local cattle producers can donate a live beef animal to be processed into ground beef. The ground beef is then sold to schools within our counties for a $1.00/pound.
To date we have placed over 700 pounds of local beef into the school systems of Carbon and Stillwater Counties
